Origins

▶Heartbreaker was a top international winner under the saddle of Peter Geerink. He continues to make his mark in the breeding world as a sire and grandsire passing on his influx and respect. He regularly produces future champions and new winners in each generation allowing him to become one of the best "Sires" in the world.
He is the father of CSIO winners Vancouver d'Auvray, Quintin, Quasimodo, Zip, Lingotto, Shaquel DC, Radieux, Riant v.d Mosseveld, Pino, USA Today, Romanov, VDL Groep Zidane, Primeval Dejavu, Heartthago, Hardrock Z, ORLANDO van de HEFFINCK, Toulon, Mic Mac du Dieu Démon, Versace van de Ruitershoeve, Watch Me, Uata, Oplemousse Hoy, Ups'n down Vanden Bandam, Quarts Musik, Quapitale du Lavoir, Topinambour, Paradis Latin, all of whom very good winners in GPs and CSIOs.
▶ Dalida van de Heffinck is a daughter of FETICHE DU PAS to whom Halifax owes his mindset and courage.
Halifax is her first offspring and was born when she was 4 years old. She then gave birth to two fillies who are now broodmares and her next offspring were born from 2018. She is the dam of Cha Cha H, born in 2019, Premium stallion licensed in Oldenburg and Honnaver in 2021.

Performances

▶ Under the saddle of Lorenzo De Luca, HALIFAX has been one of the pillars of Stephex Stables. In 2017, his ubiquity on the international scene earned him the title of "Horse of the Year" by the WBFSH and in 2018 that of FEI World’s No. 1.
With his many other performances, he is nicknamed the King of Rome with regards to his victory and rankings every year :

- 1st GP 5* CSIO in Rome; he was still ranked 2nd on 1m55 in Rome in 2021!
- Winner of international events in CSI 4 and 5* in Paris, Mexico, Miami, Cannes, London, Bourg en Bresse, Dublin, Rome
- 2nd of the GP 5* in Windsor
- 3rd of the GP 5* W in Mechelen
- 4th of the GP 5* in Brussels
- 4th of the GP 5* W of Verona
- 5th of the GP 5* W of Hong Kong
- 6th of the GP 5* W of Knokke
- 6th of the GP 5* GCT of Rome

He competed until the age of 15 in 2022 and retired in 2023 hoarding over 900 000€ in prize money.

Offspring

▶ His breeding career really kicked off in 2018 but among his 15 products aged 8 and older who are listed on Horsetelex, 9 are making a name for themselves on the international scene.

▶ Among his sons, 7 are approved stallions:
Prestige van het Kluizebos, BWP Stallion Vice Champion in 2017, under the saddle of Pieter Devos in 2023; Nanteuil van T&L, 6th in the PAVO Cup 2019; and in his 4-year-old generation Hardwell WM is approved in the Z studbook, Hans Heinrich in the Mecklenburg studbook and Hulk in the Holstein studbook.
